For Better and For Worse

June 21, 2008 5pm

On the car radio this morning, the hubby and i were listening to the news that a man and woman was found
in the vicinity where the Sulpicio ship sank.
Their wrists were tied to each other,
they later found out that they were husband and wife,
kay nilugmaw man pud iyang luha,
dayon gunit sa akong kamot,
"mi, ayaw na pag-barko ha?"

Let us all pray for them.
May God rests their soul.

Sharing the Love, The Award

[Sharing+the+love.jpg]

Doc Joey gave me an award!

And for this i want to share a something that happen today.

I received a text message from fellow blogger today (we havent met yet, got my phone number somewhere in my blogs) she wanted me to share my knowledge on primary eye care and common ailments to her SPED class this Sunday.

Without second thoughts, I gave her a GO!

If this is God's way of my 'paying it forward', so be it.

And I'm sharing, it's all that matters.

And by sharing that corneas can be donated, they might be inspired to share their corneas when the time comes .......

The award that Doc Joey gave me is extra special because the origin, Crystal, created it in honor of the donor who saved her son's life. Her son Noah had to have a heart transplant when he was just over a month old. This award is supposed to help raise awareness of the importance of organ donation.

So, here are the rules Crystal gave:

“The rules of this award are: SHARE THE LOVE!!! Share this award with all those blogs out there that you love. All the people who make you smile. All those that make you laugh. All those that make your day. All those that leave uplifting comments on your blog. **All I ask, is that you include a link to this post with the award and ask your recipient to do the same**

As you may have recently seen on my side bar, I have finally created a custom blog award!! I have wanted to do this for a long time but never came up with something that “fit”. I didn’t want just anything. It had to be something that meant something to me. And what could mean more than Sharing the Love by giving you pieces of my heart??

So I created this award in Honor Of The Donor That Saved Noah’s Life. I share this award with those of you whose love and friendship have enriched my life and made my world a better place.

I hope by passing this award around the blogging world we can all help raise awareness of the need for Organ Donation.”

Doc Joey thank you for the tag.

So, I'm tagging the bloggers of theresians batch 89 who sneaks and lurks in the net. Onyot, Mariliz, Hannah Lee, Zenda, Tonette, Nina and Tiny, basig gusto mo mu-ambit diha.

Lamdagi ko kung UNSA ba jud ning EMO?!

PMA who?

The Philippine Daily Idiot (di jud ko motuo nga idiotic ni siya, pwede pa siguro quixotic, hehehe, ionks my man, you're doing great disservice to yourself and to mankind) is asking if the PMA (not the soldier factory!) but the doctors academy if it is still relevant to the clientèle it's suppose to be serving?

Actually, I dont give a hoot! I don't know anyone there, I only concerned myself with the local society since they're the ones giving the certificates for the social insurance's accreditation. If not for these function, they're equivalent to non-existent. As in, maka-pangutana ka, naa di ay ni sila?

Hey, oinks! can I elaborate and rant on the Willie Ong's quotation?

Oh, thank you oinks for the go signal.

Six months before I graduated from training, I already plotted a plan to launch my private practice. I started ordering the necessary gadgets that a decent eye clinic should have, knowing that after residency there will be no monthly salary to lean on. Only your guts and kapalmuks! Unsaon na lang pag-bayad sa taga-liog nga utang! wa rabay mu-palit ug tambok sa seksi.

Since my hometown is pretty near a big hospital, I ask the ever loving husband of mine to buy me some stocks enough to have some kind of privilege in the hospital. Lovable man pud ko, so go! sugot dayon ang husbandry. I talked to the top person who matters and who has the biggest say on my application. Nag-yes siya! So, pay nami sa stocks.

Ever so expecting that I can have admitting and OR privilege, okay lang way admitting privilege, OR privilege lang ako gi-apas...

The big day came when the umbilical cord has been cut. And, I'm free to conquer the world!

I sent some feelers that I would like to practice now, in the hospital. Can I bring my sosyal pxs to the hospital ?

And I was told that I cannot, I have to take the diplomate first. Huh! This is not even a training hospital and I know for a fact that other doctors with no diplomates are practicing already there. I was not told that it's a requirement for the practice. A 360 degress turn about!

So, why am I not surprised that their eye clinic (hospital owned) which they have been neglecting in the past has an assigned eye doctor already?

You can put 2 and 2 together and eureka! you have the answer !

As for now, I have kept my peace, consoling my little ass, nga basig dili ni para ako, para ra ni ila! So, have the cake and you can eat it whole by yourselves.

Kana lang, salamat oinks!

The Man and the Five Mountains

Mt. Malindang

Mt. Lumot

Kanlaon

E just arrived from Silay City today, where they conquered the mountains and witnessed the Tinagong Dagat. This is his fifth major climb and he wanted me to chose the 'i-was-there' photos for his album.

He reads my posts diligently, so now, my beloved, this is for you.

P.S.

Dad, I can't find the Mt. Apo pics and will post the Silay pics once i've edited it.

Magpabayad na jud ko sa nokia ani!

The Blog Rounds!

1. IRL, im a very talkative person. During my elementary days, number ONE ko pirmi sa lista sa Most Talkative Pupils sa akong maestra, guess, this is just an extension of my loquacious self.

2. I have a very big thought, in short, nagdahum ko nga mahimo kung WRITER ig ka dako na ko, karong dako nako ug ....ug... HAWAK (waist). Nag-dahum lang gihapon ko!

3.
I'm an insomniac, so the next best thing after watching TV and reading is tinkering with the computer. I'm not an encoder, so mamutbot na lang ko sa internet with my blogs! Wah!

4. I got inspired with those people who blogs even the minutest thing that happens to their life to the minute and to the hour. They are making a living diary through their blogs. SO, bakit hindi ko rin gayahin! so... GO!.... BLOG!

5. It's only in the blogging world that I can exchange word with the famous writers and celebrities, first name basis pa jud! hi brian, how's DJ? oh di ba!

6. Sharing is living... So I share my thoughts so that I can live, not yet to the fullest, but at least adding to it little by little.

7. Every opinion counts, I like mine to be counted.

8. Blogging keeps me on my toes, there are more word players out there who can mince me with their adjectives and nouns. Much more the verbs. So, I'm a pygmy fish in the Philippine Deep.

9. Wala lang, gusto lang nako nga makit-an ako name sa GOGGLE. Mag-buot mo?!!!

10. And sometimes, I do put my foot in my mouth! ka-uwaw! sample ni ron.
